I might have more to say to that when the actual moment comes at New Years' but probably not. In the meantime, here's a funny tribute from Firejerrykill.com made in honor of another famous coaches "retirement". Please note that I am not suggesting that Osborne was complicit in any extreme horror as Paterno was. I simply appreciate the statement on patriarchal hero-worship; the way that some people consider authoritarian submission to a "Great Man" to be their idea of lighthearted Saturday fun.
The froth is already starting to grow thick here and it's only going to grow worse and worse over the winter.
